Discipline can be explaind as a set of behaviors defined to achieve goals or to be aligned with personally or socially held values and expectations. If your efforts to change behaviors come from people outside the person being disciplined, you can think of that as discipline from others. When you work to change your own behaviors, drawing on your own strengths and motivation, we are engaged in self-discipline. Discipline means involving both meaningful action and meaningful inaction. In other words, sometimes discipline means doing things you may not want to do, and it means refraining from doing things we know won’t help us.
1. Increased Productivity: Self-discipline helps us stay focused and avoid distractions, enabling us to be more productive. When you set clear goals and stick to them, you can prioritize your tasks and achieve more in less time.
2. Improved Health: Self-discipline can improve your health by helping you make healthier choices. For example, by sticking to a regular exercise routine and healthy eating habits, you can improve your physical and mental well-being.
3. Greater Success: Self-discipline is a key component of success. It enables you to take action and make progress towards your goals, even in the face of challenges and setbacks. By staying focused and committed, you can achieve the success you desire.
4. Stronger Relationships: Self-discipline can definitely improve your relationships. When you are disciplined in your communication and behavior, you are more likely to build trust and respect with others.
5. Improved Self-Esteem: Self-discipline can improve our self-esteem and confidence. When you set and achieve your goals, you feel a sense of accomplishment and pride, which can improve your self-worth.

First, you need to decide exactly what it is we want in life. Second, you should determine the price that you are going to have to pay to get the things you want.
Third, decide that you are really going to pay that price.
“Hold yourself responsible for a higher standard than anyone else expects of you.” The person who you are today, meaning your innermost character, is the sum total of all your choices and decisions in life up to this date. Human beings are choice and decision organisms. They are constantly making choices. Every choice you make is a statement about your true values and priorities. The payoff for becoming a person of character is tremendous.
Your ability and willingness to discipline yourself to accept personal responsibility are essential to happiness, health, success, achievement, and personal leadership. Accept 100% responsibility for everything that you are and everything that you want to become. Never complain and always start looking at how and what you can change first!
Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment. Setting goals and making plans is about taking time to decide what you really want in each area of your life. Apparently, only 3 percent of adults have written goals and plans, and this 3 percent earns more than all of the other 97 percent put together. Why? Because if you set a clear goal and follow a plan to achieve it, you therefore have built a track to run on every single day. You don’t get side-tracked by distractions, we don´t get lost or go astray.
